Canine Kindergarten has been a trusted name in the Northern Beaches for years, helping dogs (and their humans). When we heard the owner, Maxine, was ready for a change, we knew it was going to be the perfect collaboration.

Now operating as part of For the Love of Dogs Academy, we are continuing with the same friendly team you know and love, just with a little extra support behind the scenes so they can focus on what matters most: your pup. ​​We are proud to be creating a space where both dogs and humans can learn and grow together.

Doggy Daycare
Canine Care Services is more than just a place to drop off your dog; it’s a structured, calm, and enriching environment designed to support your dog’s wellbeing.

Dogs are highly social animals, and without regular interaction, mental stimulation and routine, they can become bored, anxious or destructive. That’s why we focus on creating a stable and predictable day filled with positive social experiences, guided play and gentle training.
​
Routine is at the heart of what we do. Just like humans, dogs thrive when they know what to expect. Our team works to maintain a calm group environment where dogs can feel safe, confident and connected.
Throughout the day, we incorporate basic manners training and support appropriate social behaviours. From greeting at the gate to learning when to settle, we’re helping your dog build lifelong skills in a supportive setting.

All dogs must attend an initial assessment to make sure the environment is the right fit for their personality and needs.
Dog Grooming
Grooming is an important part of your dog’s overall health and well-being. Regular grooming helps keep skin and coats in top condition, prevents matting, supports healthy nails and ears, and gives us the chance to spot any issues early.

At Canine Care Services, we offer a calm grooming experience tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether it’s a simple hydrobath and blow dry or a full clip and tidy, we focus on making every visit as positive and stress-free as possible.

We welcome dogs of all sizes and coat types, and work gently with each individual to build trust and comfort over time. Our grooming appointments are available Monday to Friday.

We’re always happy to talk through what your dog might need and provide a quote before we begin. Keeping your dog clean, comfortable and happy is what we’re here for.
Dog Training
Training is an important part of helping dogs grow into confident, well-mannered companions and it doesn’t have to happen in a formal class. At Canine Care Services, every dog enrolled in our daycare receives daily training woven naturally into their day. From learning how to greet calmly at the gate to practising sit-stay before meals or working on recall in a safe group setting, we focus on building everyday skills through positive, play-based learning.

Our team uses kind, reward-based techniques that support calm behaviour, good social habits, and healthy communication between dogs and humans. We meet each dog where they’re at, helping them learn at their own pace and gain confidence in a supportive environment.
​
For those looking for more structured training, we’ve partnered with a group of trusted local trainers who offer both group classes and private lessons. These programs are ideal for puppies, adolescents, or adult dogs who need a bit of extra help with specific behaviours.
